How BEST should read your trips
Each of these changes what we recommend. We have said how, so you can judge whether the answer is right.
Will you have a car?
Changes result ordering more than anything else here. Without a car we rank walkable stays first and flag anywhere the bus runs on request only.
What matters on a trip
Used to score trip fit. Choosing both “quiet” and “walkable” will pull in opposite directions — that is fine, we will say so.
Weather tolerance
Changes how strongly NORA warns you. If you walk in bad weather anyway, we will stop telling you it is raining and only flag wind that is genuinely unsafe.
Language
BEST is written in English today. Føroyskt, Dansk and Español are planned, and the product is built so content can be translated rather than rebuilt.
Currency and units
Prices are quoted in Faroese króna, which is pegged to the Danish krone at parity. Conversions would be indicative only.
What we will send you
NORA interrupts only when something is actionable. There is no marketing email and no daily digest.
- A booking needs a decision from you.
- A price changed on something you shortlisted.
- A cancellation deadline is approaching.
- Weather may affect a plan you have made.
